Do I need an account to place an order?

Yes. We understand not everyone wants to have an account with another website. Thankfully, if you've purchased from a Shopify website in the past, you can login using the same credentials.

Having an account protects your information and gives you access. We have found in the past that not having account can hinder customers from getting the best discounts and prevent us from getting in contact with you should there be an issue with your order. Having your own account makes it possible for you to check up and track your order. Your account will also give you access to any and all digital items you purchase going forward. All downloads are attached to your account and are available for download from the order they were placed in.

Creating an account makes it easy for you to check your order history and have your shopping cart items and payment details saved for next time (only you can see). It’s quick and easy to create an account. Just visit https://chalcedonstore.com/account/register and follow the instructions on-screen.

How much will shipping cost?

Please do not message us with this question. This isn't a question we can easily answer. Shipping costs rely on a lot of information:

  • what you are purchasing
  • your full address
  • how much items weigh
  • and what shipping method you choose

The easiest way to find out how much your order will cost and how much the shipping will be is to put the items into the cart and start the check out process (you do not have to commit).

Our system does want you to have an account to do this. We know it is inconvenient but we almost never email you (you might get a reminder if something is left behind in your cart).

Creating an account just makes it so you can see all discounts, shipping methods, taxes and prevents you from losing access to your receipt and tracking information should you place an order.

How long does it take to get my order?

These are estimated shipping timelines. The shipping methods you choose during the check out process will give you better estimations.

US Residents: Please allow 5-10 business days for standard shipping. Tracking information will be sent to you via the email or SMS number you provided. You can track all your packages in your Account under the Order tab.

International Residents: Please allow 10-20 business days (some countries can take up to a month to deliver packages). Please check your tracking information.  Tracking information will be sent to you via the email or SMS number you provided. You can track all your packages in your Account under the Order tab.


Shipping Sales

Occasionally we have a Free US Shipping sale or discounted shipping. This is for packages within the United States. Packages are typically shipped USPS Media Mail or the most economical method available. Because of Shopify we are now able to offer some alternative shipping methods at discounted prices (we didn't previously have access to these shipping discounts).
International customers may be given a price discount when we are running a shipping sale.

International Shipping Alternative

Canadian residents: If you are able to have your package shipped just over the border in the US and pick it up, you will be able to take advantage of the free shipping or cheaper shipping options.

Australian residents: Chalcedon products can be purchased from Australian companies Koorong and Light Educational Ministries.
